The Prayer Chapel located right next to Bethel Christian School is a beautifully unique building where people can relax, worship, journal, pray, etc. The purpose of this building is to be open to anyone who would like to come and soak in the presence of God. I believe this place is a symbol of power because Bethel has largely impacted Shasta County. Its architecture is humble yet beautiful; it holds a statement of power true at night when you can see the mounted crown shape on top that glows blood red. This of course is to symbolize the blood of Jesus Christ. The chapel is also open 24/7 which shows the importance they think it is for people to come.
It is located up College View Drive off of Churn Creek.
I could not find an article explaining the foundation of the building itself but I found one that gives a feel for the state that people are in and sometimes what they claim to experience. Either way, the Prayer Chapel is a quiet, peaceful place.
