Redding artist Eric Podtetenieff painted a mural of the earth behind red curtains on Market street. The picture seems rather odd for Redding. It's size indicates a big statement, but I'm not sure that people really know what it's saying. I've always drive by it and thought of it as rather displaced. It's not quite downtown and it doesn't seem to fit the surrounding.
